So I took the car out for an Italian tune-up. I'm pretty sure it has the extra power and torque. The car felt quick. It didn't feel quite as quick as the M3, but that is not surprising given it has about 90 less hp.

I kept an eye on the sports dials and they consistently hit an indicated c. 490/500 nm and about 370 hp. I worked out the latter because the dial got half way between the 420 indicator and the 560 indicator.

I believe that MHD have beta for this series of engine - worth keeping an eye open for that. The BMW PE was good on my E92, but they don't offer anything for the E89 as mine is already at 1M tune levels - shame!
