The BMW i3 and BMW i8 are the first two cars launch under BMW's new sub brand BMW i. The i3 is an all carbon fiber, all electric vehicle meant for urban mobility.

And what are you trying to say exactly OP?

My local BMW indy specialist (who is ex-Sytner) has an i3 and rates it as a POS - nothing but problems!

Not sure what the ops points is but BMW have really pushed the boundaries with the i3 in virtually every area. As such they have had some issues with the early cars but that seems to have been removed now.

We will look back on the i3 in 20yrs as a game changer.

Dangerous to say but mine has worked faultlessly for 20k miles in 18 months, only around 300 miles on petrol in that time
