Celtic Tuning M5 F10
Discussion
I realise PH is more of an Evolve and DMS zone, and everyone will recommend their favourite of the two, but has anyone used Celtic Tuning ?
I have had my own experiences of Evolve DMS Eurocharged and some less so well known tuners...not all good experiences..
Celtic are offering ECU opening remaps on F10 M5...the two dealers I spoke to seem pretty competent and experienced..
I am booked in for next week...
Will report my findings but curious to see if I will be the first brave PHer to go for a non DMS Evolve remap..

As promised here is my own experience of Celtic So having turned up at CT cars, the local Celtic Tuning agent, I was a little nervous as the garage was a very small place with no sense of tuning or motorsport...just a normal 3 bay shed garage in the country..
However when I asked about their experience opening ECUs to tune, the proprietor told me they had opened more than 300 ecus so I felt better and left them my car...
30 minutes later I got a call from them saying that they hadn't realised there were 2 ecus and the price needed to go up...
It was clear that they had never worked on an M5, which they then confirmed, so I decided not to be their first and took my car home.
When I contacted Celtic and asked them to recommend another dealer with experience of the M5, they finally confirmed that none of their dealers had ever tuned an M5..... so I would need to travel to their place in Newquay....
Pretty disappointing, and perhaps a predictable outcome but at least others can learn from my adventures...
