Does the ECU record when the service indicator is reset through a car's life?

Each to their own. Never been a fan of lots of chrome, especially if the rest is shadow line.
Have to agree. Sadly I'm not convinced that the black grille works on Le Mans blue tho hence why mine still has the turd chrome. Id like a smoked chrome really but no idea where I might sort thatferrisbueller said:

The only exterior chrome bits are the model badge and the front grille surrounds. OK, and maybe the exhaust pipes were chrome at one point too.
My car is Le Mans blue, and it doesn't look bad to me, but I did prefer the chromed grilles on my E46... I think. I'd have to see them in situ to be sure.

If it was a manual I'd be all over it. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

If you don't care about leather, i-drive, big wheels etc then the spec is probably fine.

At such low mileage you need to check the history - things like brake fluid might be overdue. The tyres could be old, too and in need of replacement. It needs the recall work doing, but then so do all the others. Spec wouldn't bother me. Leather would be nice to have but you can address that if you're that bothered, I can do well without electric wotsits and i-drive.
For £4k that's a great way to get about IMO. If anything, it's too cheap.
As above, it were manual there'd be lots of people all over it.
Thanks for the thoughts.
If I'm honest, with a car of this age, the miles, history and condition are far more important that the base spec.
It's got full history with everything done on time apparently. Also the water pump was done last year (£600 he said it cost)
Re price - to me it seems very cheap. I'd have expected a 5995 type of price for the miles and that magnificent N52 sitting under the bonnet.
What do you say? Buy?
