200 large from a pump is unreal. Very good going there.

As for Run flats, they're gone from mine. I bought the BMW spare wheel kit that goes in the boot when I take the car abroad. Much better than having to wait for an extortionate tow off of a French Auto-route. It's not the smallest, but goes in the boot okay.

What size is the spare wheel kit? Is it a spacesaver?

Linky?

Almost an E91. I just thought I'd give watchers of this thread sight of my exceptional E90 which is for sale. Just on the basis that if you like E91 then you'll probably be fairly amenable to E90: https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/10680242

I've always wondered how people manage to chop 2ft off the end of the car in pictures. Clearly you've mastered the art as you've done it twice. How so?

It's an alloy space saver. 17 inch wheel to fit over the 330/335 brakes, and comes with a jack and wheel chock like the older models did.

https://designerbeema.com/shop/wheels-tyres/wheels...

I paid £200 used for mine, but the kit has never seen usage. Just sat in someone's garage a lot I'd imagine. Not cheap, but cheaper than a tow and subsequent price gouged tyre when stranded somewhere in Spain.

It's not really like that. Piston Heads classified ads butchered it.

See, here's the real photo:

Yes. If you press on the photo to get 'full screen' you see it all.

However given the purpose of my looking is to find an estate for the dogs, it isn't.

Did he spend 1600 on discs, pads, fluids and filters?

Plus clutch and DMF.

Numbers may have worked better just selling it to WBAC/trading it vs spending the £1600 (+ another £3-400 on tyres).

I always put my Labrador in the passenger footwell in my E90's. An E91 would have been a much better bet though for sure.

Yes, we also have the OE rubber boot lining which is very useful vs muddy dogs or buggy wheels.

I noticed a 'chirping' at the front of the engine. Tensioner or pulley I suppose? Am I right in thinking it's prudent to minimise driving the car until it's sorted.
Took to the mechanic yesterday, of course the noise disappeared completely. irked

They checked everything and said it was fine. Only issue was a rusty exhaust bracket (which they kindly sorted).

Will keep an eye on things.

Wife drove the 630 for the first time today. Now we know the Isofix base/baby seat fits, I've told her to drive that until I get the 330 sorted.

I'm worried after she gets a taste for the E63, she may not want to back to slumming it in the E91. biggrin
My prediction was accurate. hehe She's been driving the 630 last few days and says it's very nice and she likes it a lot especially the steering (active steering is v light at low speeds) and the comfort. Apparently it suits her driving style. Luckily it's hard work to get the baby in/out the seat at the back so that con outweighs all the pros (thankfully! otherwise I don't think I'd be getting it back).

Bit of a score there! For you, not the wife. hehe

I spent some time in a E63 last year and it's a step up in luxury compared to the E90 cars. I'd like an N52 model with all of the facelift bits.

That sounds like it was a close call! laugh

Glad you might get "your" 630 back. thumbup

Yep, defo a big step up from the E90. I hear it's much closer to a 7 Series than a 5 Series in terms of luxury.

I picked those because they have one of the quietest ratings whilst retaining good grading in other areas. I've been using them on my cars for a few years now.
