Does anyone have the part number or can point me in the right direction for a replacement rear fog light?

Agreed. An N55 335i is a rare beast!

I wanted it but couldn't get there in time FFS. I'd arranged to go and see it on Wednesday but it's sold today. I'm properly annoyed about missing it!

Any idea of how many they produced?
I am lucky to have one. On the sales order there is a note to say the N55 was specially obtained. Car is a 2011 with order date Dec 2010.
Perhaps just a sales persons spiel - If sir orders now we will makesure BMW install the N55 that isn't available until next year....

Anyone roughly any idea how many E91 N55 335i autos were built?

I'm so pissed off about missing that black one. It had a decent spec and low mileage, god knows if there's even another one out there anywhere like that.

Edit, didn't see the same question asked above!

I doubt there’s another on that low mileage and with what looked to be individual paint and interior. Shame for the rest of us! I was torn as we have an E91 and an E55 AMG, torn whether you go for the 335i or try and find an F11 35i. The 550i engine looks to be a real nightmare of efficient dynamics bks that means the expensive battery is a standard service part and sir can expect it not to start in the morning multiple times. Never mind the rest of the issues the BMW V8s have. Anyway, back to E91s.

An F11 535i is also on my list (difficult to find a nice one though) but that E91 just ticked every box for me. I knew I should have gone early last week when I had a spare day.

Charges total £61.40

I bought for £224.38 inc delivery + £61.40 = £284.78 for both the waterpump and the thermostat.
Sorry I missed this, thanks for posting. It adds a fair chunk onto the cost percentage wise, but still appears to be the cheapest option for Pierburg/Mahle parts.

I wonder if the seller in Germany included VAT, in which case it should be re-claimable. I have no idea how you would go about doing so however.
No idea about reclaiming the VAT. Regardless of charge, still cheaper than anything UK based.

The waterpump is surprisingly heavy!

Free new gen BMW Sport rear damper bump stop and shroud:

I don’t need it as I have fitted B8s. 1st person to reply can have it for the cost of postage. If you have an E91 with original bump stops they will probably be worn out.

I found 2 335i's for sale that had not been advertised on the open market. 1 manual 2006 N54 that I bought and was written off and then a 65k 2011 auto with the N55.
The forum was E90 post.com, I put a wanted ad up and 2 people who had been thinking of selling got in touch.
This is how I have bought a couple of cars over the years.

That's a good idea and something that I may well do. Cheers for the tip.

Thinking about moving on from mine. Partly because I think it might be time for a newer car and partly because I also own a E92 M3 - as the maximum number of cars I can own is 4, starting to think I should have something different as a family wagon.

TBH it also needs a few niggles sorting out pant roof is jammed shut and the aircon seems to be a little warm.

Mechanically sound. Has had new pumps, dampers and springs in the last couple of years, courtesy of BMW warranty.

Would be interested in peoples opinions. Sell it as a project? Or just trade in?
