Yep, sounds like the module. The module in my E46 330d died, so I just disconnected it.

For the water ingress, I’d check the rear light seals, vents behind the bumpers, sunroof drains (if fitted), and the rear washer tube if it smells like screenwash.

What I’d also do to check for leaks is strip out the boot carpet, get into the boot and run the hose over it.
I had a PDC problem on my E46, and I remember that when you put it in reverse, you got a continuous beep (maybe only initially), as some kind of warning that there was a fault. However, I've got no beeps, nothing on the iDrive screen and no warnings. Just dead - unless it's temporarily working, in which case it works fine - but only for a few minutes. £12 for a tested used module, so that's got to be worth a try.

Water was just water I think... no odour/colour. Will remove the rear light fitting and clean the seals.

Quite a spec on that, both in terms of factory options and the upgrades fitted. No mention of power output but it must be pretty punchy with hybrid turbos fitted.

It looks a bit "Barry" for my taste, but with the exterior returned to stock that would be a lovely machine and quite a sleeper.

It’s fairly chavved up and overpriced. No LSD which would have been more useful than some of the modifications.

Its a Jap import. I think Barry has been living there for some time and thriving it seems.

Hi all.

My January addition and first BMW since my e34. I love it, Japanese import 09 335i auto.
Since a service, have added an Andream screen and a wireless charger from Evolve Automotive.

Have also lifted the rear since these photos after a difficult Lake District trip…

Anyone on the lookout for a manual N52 touring and feeling brave?laugh

Le Mans Blue M-Sport too... although as far as I can tell the only option it has is the old CCC Pro Nav.

Has that link changed? It's taking me to a silver E90 330i.

Oops... was bored and looking on Copart and had multiple tabs open- they also had an E90. Fixed now.

I’ve had a rattle from underneath the car for the past month, under acceleration at around 1,400RPM. Changed the wheels over so had a look…

Yep. That’ll do it. Surprised it wasn’t blowing either.

Seeing that 23mpg on the fuel computer reminded me of how thirsty mine was for the performance. You don't get a great performance/economy mix with the 330i that is for sure. For example the F82 M4 I have now is doing 29mpg in comparison to the 26mpg that I got in the 330i.

The ropy fuel economy was why my friend sold his 330i - his was an auto (same as our E90) which I think saps the power / petrol because our manual 330i isn't too bad.

It's been a while since I was on here. Just updated my Reader's Cars, but one for the E91 6cyl bearders below - nearly back in the game!

Really?! I only ordered one a few months ago. Sounds like I got lucky if true!

It’s true! I just tried to buy one. On the E46 you could replace the centre of the badge with a wheel centre badge. Maybe it’s possible on the E91.

Damn, really? Following my argument with BMW about my bubbly badge (no result), my wife was thinking of dropping by a dealer with the car on the way somewhere else for this so-called "warranty inspection".

Mine is bubbling too. It seems some of the current replacement BMW parts are not as well made as the factory fitted parts. I’ve found an EBay seller and ordered a non gen. tailgate badge.

You managed to find an E91-sized one? When I last looked they didn't seem to exist in the aftermarket, as they're a unique size.
