Sell it and buy an M3 conv...

Cheapest way to make a car faster is to sell it and buy a quicker one...

Funny you should say that

I've been told that a few times on here! Nearly did a swap for an M3 (not conv) last night but the guy had to go out of the area until next week so.... ?

I'm just having a look to see what's available at the moment.

A couple of guys on the E30Zone have fitted their own superchargers and turbos. One guy even has an E36 M3 engine in his E30 sport

I've seen a 750i V12 in an E30 also a 3.8L S38 with monster turbo putting out around 1000hp, both were rather a tight squeeze though

Also seen a Skyline RB25DET, Mazda 20B Three rotor turbo, 13B Twin rotor turbo, Nissan SR20DET, Toyota 1jZte? Supra turbo engine. Certainly no shortage of options to shove in there

In E36s I have seen some of the above and a Lexus 4.0L V8 as well.
