nope, not had heated seats with Leather since I had an Alfa 156 GTA and that was a while ago now!

I don't find that it is that cold very often and in all honesty it, for me, is not an option I would let sway my decision on the car. Would be nice yes but not an essential - you may well think differently.

Thanks. That post aligns with a lot of my thinking.
I know that I have said that it needed to be the 35d for me etc but there is a very nice 30d xDrive at a place I looked at a couple of cars at;

330d

This one looks really good and if you do decide that the high specification is the priority this one seems to have all you could need.

The guys here were great, really in to their cars.

Why x drive?

The 335d is no option but it’s on stilts.
330d however is different rear wheel drive is an option.

I thought these prices were low then I realised they are not the M Sports. Shame.

Does have Adaptive M Suspension though which is even better arguably. Subtle looks, sporty handling?

I find heated seats so good in cold weather but an added benefit the heat can really help your back if sore/muscle pain etc. Very relaxing

Given it’s been used from 2010 in 5 series 7 series and 3 and 4 and 1 series it’s perfectly fine.

It’s an exceptional gearbox.

Mercs 9 speed might nip it now but it’s 8 years old now.

I actually prefer the ZF8 to Mercs 9 speed, the 9 speed can be quite clumsy at low revs when it tries to make up its mind what gear it wants to use.

It's a classic example of a gearbox having too many gears for me.

The ZF8 is really amazing from the experiences I have had with it.

In the M140i it’s absolutely brilliant.
