BMW 200 Tourer Issue with electric window

Hi there - I’m hoping someone can help me with this annoying issue before the summer arrives!
My rear window will not wind up or down. When I press the button I just get a whirring, crunching sound but the window doesn’t move. When we press it accidentally, the window will go down two inches but then sticks and we have to manually push the window up with our hands (have to get a good grip) whilst pressing the button.
If anyone knows what it could be I’d really appreciate the advice to put it right.
Whilst here, the sun roof is as dead as anything - any ideas on that one too?
