G29 Z4 - anyone else ordering?

Still waiting for mine. It finished build ages ago but seems to have got put on hold somewhere. Now expected end of this month/ early April

BMW are giving me an M240i Convertible next week to keep until the Z4 turns up, so that should be a fun comparison

Anyone taken delivery yet or got any photos?

I went to a local dealer to see one and although there was loads of space in the showroom there was no sign of a Z4. I asked if they had one to be told that they had 3 but they were all at the remote compound. But they looked really good and was I interested in buying one. Well I might have been if I could have sat in one.

What was the sense in having 3 cars which apparently they'd had for a while, and at least 1 was registered,empty space in the showroom and not 1 on display? And they'll soon be moaning about sales again and having an "event"

Knight BMW in Stafford certainly seem to have one - there was a red one parked outside when I drove past at the weekend, and I've seen it around town since then. Still not 100% sure on the headlights, but the rest of it looks good.

Wollaston BMW Northampton have 2 I’ve seen, 1 is a demo.

Sytner Tamworth have one too - looked good in the blue, certainly nicer than the press shots.

Saw three of these today, two red (one a 4.0) and a matt grey.

Have to say I’m still disappointed with its looks comparing it to the original show car BUT it looks a lot better in the flesh than I thought from pictures.

I found some pictures recently of another M40i in matching spec to mine, really can't wait for it now

This car is better than i anticipated as a driver's car (30i), it's awesome in fact, but the quality doesn't feel up to the level of my previous 430d. But that's a very mature car and this is a brand new model so quality will undoubtedly improve over time.
