Bmw Wireless Charging Cradle.

New to this so apologies if this is already discussed or in the wrong place. I just picked up my new M4 and loving every minute!! My question is regarding the wireless charging cradle and if someone has a new iPhone XR, and if it fits?
I currently have a 7+ which I bought a charging case for to use in the car but it doesn’t fit without a case let alone with it!! I know the XS would but don’t really want to pay that much for a smaller phone!! Looking at the spec the Max length on the cradle is 151mm and the spec for the XR is 150.9..... So in theory it ‘should’ but in practice does it??
Any advice appreciated from someone who has actually tried it. ??
