More E65 woes

Having had a few issues around MOT time with suspension bushes and water leaks not to mention the issue of not taking the key into the ignition I hoped the woes were over but no.
The failure to retain the key was solved it seemed by a software update... now after about a month of hassle free motoring I have the opposite issue the key won’t release from the ignition.
The following fault code comes up 0051AC

Helix if I knew you well enough I could really get to dislike you

That’s what I’m really hoping it isn’t

It seems to be “off” as in key out but it won’t come out, whatever mechanically retains it seems to be doing its job

Sorry for my “to the point post”! It’s not a fault I’ve fixed before but diagnosis by Google gives a lengthier explanation:

But , you never know, there may be a cheap, quick and easy fix. Hope you get it fixed without too much trouble and expense.
