16 inch alloys arrived on the E36 for the 1995 model year, around the time the 323i/328i arrived. Before that there were two 15 inch tyre widths. The wider one was 225/55x15 rubber, a size that is near enough impossible to find now.

My '93 E36 325i had 15 inch Style 10s.

Pirelli P6000 tyres, not recommended BTW!

I ended up putting 17 inch Alpinas on it so don't think I ever replaced the P6000s.

E36 not he best stock regardless of tyres ideally you will need to poly bush and get new lower suspension arms plus a e46 purple tag rack for full effect.

Don't go bigger than 16" rims

Cheers. Might try those Hankooks. Look better value than Conti Premium Contacts.

Have had new front solid balljoints and eccentric wishbone bushes but everything else still standard. Car has covered around 46k miles. Will stick with 15" wheels for now I think.
