I couldn’t find a M340i with a decent spec (looking for one a few months old) as I wanted a few options/packs. In the end went M340d as found a three month old one and as I got it from the same dealer as my recently written off G21 330d i got a great deal. Performance isn’t quite as good but torque is mightily impressive and consumption a bit better.
If you're looking at a factory order, it'll be Sept now before you get anything.
The factory is stopping production in June, then starting again in July for the facelift model with the curved screens and new idrive.
BMW UK forces may have some build slots if you're eligible as they're owned and operated by BMW UK.
Tony Lewis (TRL) is otherwise your best bet for everyone else.

I’ve heard it’s worse than that-prioritised X models at 6-9 months, other models 12. As you say TRL may add real data on thatThe factory is stopping production in June, then starting again in July for the facelift model with the curved screens and new idrive.

All I here about is Tony at TRL. On multiple forums.
Is he like the BMW god or something? How can one man in the entire country be the go to person to buy a BMW or am I missing something?
He operates (I believe) as an online only arm of Berry BMW, so has far fewer overheads. Is he like the BMW god or something? How can one man in the entire country be the go to person to buy a BMW or am I missing something?
To put things into context, my local dealers couldn't come within £140/month on my previous m340i for the exact same spec / terms.
Even now with next to no discounts available, he's quoted me an on the road figure for an m440i of £5k less than my local dealers. I had quotes from 3, and Carwow quotes just for something to measure against. None could come close.
He's also incredibly easy to deal with, a really nice guy, and very efficient.
Just got my M340i a week ago. I had driven it before so I knew about it. Had the golf r 7.5 before that, loved that car but the M340i is on a different level. The only thing is I think this B58 deserves more noise from that exhaust. Any suggestions? I love the RCP exhausts but what would you recommend?

I'm hoping the AWE non-resonated exhaust finds it's way over from the US, been getting some great reviews. I'd have it with standard exhaust tips too, so stock looks but just a bit more vocal https://www.awe-tuning.com/bmw-g20-m340i-exhaust-s...

How are you finding it in the snow?
First experience of mine in the snow on Tuesday and not fun with the summer tyres it has on. Very skittish compared to previous 4wd cars I have owned. Liked to tramline a bit too. Current 2wd 530d is completely planted on Dunlop winters
Neither of which surprise me
Very close to getting an order in on one of these, tho prices have ballooned compared to when this thread was started!
Will be in Touring flavour, either in Melbourne Red with Oyster or Alpine White with either Oyster or Tacora (Red). Not sure on which trim yet. Fairly minimal spec tho will add the HK and possibly the wireless phone charging (steep at £180!)
Any must haves as far as you guys have experienced? I cant see an option to ditch the run-flats - I'm going back a few years but that always used to be a no cost option - no longer the case?

Can't ditch the run-flats, I changed mine after 2k miles but that was kinda forced as I hit a pot hole and blew out the side of a tyre. While the run flats got me to ATS it wasn't a particularly bad pothole and the tyre fitter told me they see a lot of runflats with blown out side walls from minor hits as there's very little give in the tyre. Have hit much worse in the non runlets without issue.
I was lucky and found a set of star marked PS4S, on offer too! Massive difference in ride and handling.
I got the Pano roof, never had one before and it's one of those options if you've never had one you wouldn't miss it, but after having one.....
I'd also recommend getting the speed camera warning, have to get if from connected drive and is £25/yr, but well worth it as I do a fair bit of motorway driving and you get a big yellow camera warning on the HUD, saved me a couple of times when my speed drifted over 80.

Use waze on carplay/android and save your £25 a year for the camera warning. Also get warnings where people report mobile cameras etc. real time ish. I was lucky and found a set of star marked PS4S, on offer too! Massive difference in ride and handling.
