Had vacuum fault on my 435D Xdrive gran coupe less than four years old 244C00 and 27B900. Was traced to swirl flaps robbing all vac controllers for turbo waistgates using a vac pump with gauge. Went into drive train fault limp home soon as any beans attempted. Plugged T on vac pipe job done. Looked into replacing swirl flap 763 plus vat so a grand fitted not including motorised part, no danger.
Hope this post helps any n57 owners. Also found out bmw are selling 135 units per month.

Hello mate, I’m having the same problem. How did you diagnose that it was your swirl flaps?
