Well that’s my delivery confirmed for the 16th March when I return from work, car reg is confirmed as the 20 plate and I’ll get the insurance setup...

From the minute I signed up for this deal I just thought no way will it go through, can’t wait to post some pics on the 16th gents...
Good luck all...

I never thought it was going to happen, and am still waiting for the call to say it's not gone through and we've realised it was an error.

Insurance was set up yesterday, I literally cannot wait.

Same here, I did ring them up G2L yesterday for a further update but all they could tell me is the cars due with the dealer first week of March and they’ll update me in a couple of days with a further update.

I’m hoping it’s ready a few days after delivery...

Guessing you haven't got an existing lease that still needs insurance while waiting for it to be collected then?
Fortunately not. I am going from a 2003 Clio 172. That I now need to sell in the next 13 days. I bought the clio after having an R estate for 2 years. So might need it in a further two years!
PM me with the details on the clio. Might be interested

I could have had Feb! I have an A5 that's going back early, though, so might as well put some miles on that. It is SO tempting to mail them and say 'send it now!', but I'll wait...

It's a shame dealerships don't have a better solution for power management. That always looks so messy.

The bonnet also looks absolutely huge when it's open like that.

Yep - the car itself is absolutely huge in terms of legnth. Not sure how much room is in the back as still not sat in the rear of one. Dad sent me the pic!

TBH, it was the size of the thing that led me to cancel my order. Already got an XC60 and was looking for something to replace our 124 Abarth. Back to the drawing board, though may jump on the Megane Trophy band wagon.

I went for 10k per year on a 6 & 23 deal. Works out £392 a month and £2300 up front give or take a few pennies...

I have - plenty of room in the back even when sitting behind somebody fairly tall (I'm 6ft1 and was comfortable behind the seat even when set for my own position).

I hope you’re not implying that you’ve lied about having a tracker when you don’t actually have one?
No the tracker will cost £2-300 so I am still saving around £400 overall as having a tracker reduces my insurance by about £700! No brainer really
Nice.

So will you be installing the tracker on day of collection/delivery?

You need to factor in the monthly charges as well, the £2/300 is for purchasing the tracker and installation only. When looking into it a few weeks ago the monthly charge’s were around £10/15.
