I have had some belting deals and thought my luck had ran out; had a Golf R with options for £207, a Polo GTI for £134 and two S5's with my latest one at £374 a month with £4k of options.
The colour choices are a bit disappointing to me and im glad there is a (very) small window to change.
What's the colour you've gone for and what's the window for change? I'm thinking Sonic Blue with Ivory...The colour choices are a bit disappointing to me and im glad there is a (very) small window to change.
I went with the boring and sensible option but having had two dark blue cars and a grey S5 I fancied being a bit more daring!

So had mine confirmed at £353 + £2,150 for 5k, 24 months.
Includes Barca blue which triggers the M Sport pack (£1500 option).
Now black or Cognac ....
I personally love the cognac - here is a vid that shows it. Includes Barca blue which triggers the M Sport pack (£1500 option).

Plus initial payments surely? The colour choices are a bit disappointing to me and im glad there is a (very) small window to change.

First post here, so looking for some collective wisdom from this group.
I have been a long term leaser but mainly through a company scheme, now need to change in March as I will be coming out of the scheme.
Originally I am looking at the BMW M135i, but then this mad 840i deal popped up and got me looking elsewhere....
I cam across this :
BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe 840i sDrive 4dr Auto
9 x 23 on a 8k deal
mthly - 424.12
admin - 199
I make this to be £15.5 over 2 years on a £70 car. I know that this is nowhere near the original deal, but is this good value?
I am also tempted by a AR Guilia Veloce at £299 on a 9x23 deal...but that is another question entirely.
Did you not see the select leasing deal I post a few pages back?I have been a long term leaser but mainly through a company scheme, now need to change in March as I will be coming out of the scheme.

There’s mine, going to ask about Cognac today too.
Re running costs, no idea, I think that the alloys I’ve picked get rid of run flats, I will do 10-14k so can’t see it needed tyres, service interval is 2 years or 15k, so my plan is to hand it back before 2 years and not pay for anything essentially.

It does seem like a relatively cheap way to have a £70k car for 2 yrs. That's the trap that i've fallen into before though - it's only relatively cheap if you were intent on buying a £70k car some other way. In isolation £1 per mile + fuel + insurance + servicing can hardly be described as good value!I have been a long term leaser but mainly through a company scheme, now need to change in March as I will be coming out of the scheme.

You could finance a nearly new £20k M140i with a bank loan for around £350/month and then you don't have to hand it back after 2 yrs and any equity is yours at the end.
Not bashing leasing, just trying to offer some perspective

For me personally I've ran two S5 leases so not to concerned with fuel Bill's- my commute to work is 8 miles each way and we have a new A6 diesel for longer journeys etc.

Just managed to speak to Bradley at G2L and he's going to see if there's a way to get me on this train... Would anyone be willing to email me the numbers they've been quoted so I can make sure my quote (if it comes) is on par? Looking at a 9+23 on probably 9 or 10k miles/yr.
Numbers are on the first page of the thread mate - the first post!3000cc said:
Me too:
“ We are pleased to confirm that the finance company have approved your application for vehicle finance.
As we will now be formally ordering the vehicle ...”
Right. So, onto colours! Black leather or cognac? S4 is red, which has been a great change from the usual coal-hole interiors, but not sure about cognac...
I want something other than black this time and the aside from the ivory being very light it also comes with cream mats etc which will look shocking quite quickly. Cognac seemed a good inbetween. Not seen it in the flesh though so to speak “ We are pleased to confirm that the finance company have approved your application for vehicle finance.
As we will now be formally ordering the vehicle ...”

Hi All,
Matt Axford from Gateway2lease, thought it might be easier to communicate on here, rather than bouncing individual emails around, its been a struggle but we got there in the end with this deal, might be able to secure some more slots if any one else wants to take advantage, i have read through the comments regarding post March delivery, we will be confirming the official governments stance via email to all customers.
Hi Matt, please can you talk to me into this deal? I’m hesitating because my current S4 doesn’t go back until May! Should I order now and just pay for two cars for a couple of months? We'll done all who got a car...bit surprised to see folks adding spec on to the cars tho....my experience tells me options are paid over the term in full and don't effect the GFV out the exit so effectively your adding costs for someone else to enjoy after 24 months? Unless someone tells me different I'll be stock and enjoying the sub £400pm rental ??
That said each to their own some folks are happy to spend more as there going to be sitting in it for 24 months but it's not a long time...18 months in and you'll be looking for the next car so was just intrigued to see on what is already a fairly decent spec pretty pricey options being selected like the black pack and pan roof.
I think I'll go safe with carbon black and congac interior, I looked at Dravit grey but I think that colour needs the black pack so ended up opting for the same as I had many years ago in my 635d.
We'll done again.
Depends on the deal for me. General rule of leasing is not to do options but its tempting when the deal is sub 20%. On a Golf R I had i just paid for met paint. On my current S5 it has 4k of options but is still only 374 a month! That said each to their own some folks are happy to spend more as there going to be sitting in it for 24 months but it's not a long time...18 months in and you'll be looking for the next car so was just intrigued to see on what is already a fairly decent spec pretty pricey options being selected like the black pack and pan roof.

Gone for privacy glass and the crystal clarity finish this time round. Carbon black and cognac leather. First BMW.

M sport and black pack is £1500 and makes the car look x10 better in my opinion.
Some correct me if I'm wrong...the m sport pack is applied to all cars...the m sport premium is just a black pack to the grill side vents, brakes and wheels? If I had gone for sunset orange I would of had the full 'black pack' so to speak
