Can anyone recommend a decent VO coder on the North East, please? I'm not prepared to DIY it because when I tried coding on my E46, I completely fked it.

TIA

Try SC Motorworks in Shiremoor, they specialise in beemers and reasonably priced.

no personnel experience, but you could try Plough Motors, East Boldon.

Thank you both. thumbup I was really after some real-world experiences because I don't trust Google Reviews, Trustpilot, Revoo, Checkatrade, etc, etc. If you've seen my thread regarding my recent negative experience with a wheel refurber, you'll understand why - he came highly recommended through Checkatrade. frown

I did a Google search a couple of days ago, and Plough Motors came up. Only about a mile from my step-daughter's gaff, so I might give them a try.

let us know how you get on as I have a 335i I'm having DSC problems with, despite having the unit repaired.

Sorry for the late reply, but I've got no further.

Spoke to Plough Motors and SCMotorworks (as recommended above) - also DWMotorworks in Throckley. None of them want to do what I'm after. I don't know why. They all seemed keen enough at the start of the conversation, but as soon as I said I want the adaptive headlights deleted, all they did was try to put me off - even when I explained why I want it done. I know it can be done because I've seen a couple of videos on YouTube. Looks like I'll have to buy all the necessary stuff and learn to do it myself. Seems a bit of a waste, though, when it will only ever be used the once - I won't be doing any more coding once I've got the car how I want it.
