For those commenting about launch control. Documentation for the m135i recommends you don't exceed 4500rpm or 100mph for the first 1200 miles while the car runs in. It also says, quite clearly lol, DON'T USE LAUNCH CONTROL WHILST RUNNING IN. biggrin

I always found that cars you abused 'opened up' a little and were generally a little more lively over time than others that had been treated kindly.

I’m assuming the ones ordered at end of March and Lynn has said have arrived in the U.K. as the standard colour with no options?

Just trying to think why some have arrived quicker than others that had been processed earlier! Don’t get me wrong a couple of weeks difference would be ok but 8 plus weeks difference just doesn’t add up to me…
My dates have changed again and further delay… originally July 3rd then to august 3rd now to August 17th starting to get really pissed off all the sales man has ever said is he believes the orders will arrive sooner… 2 further delays later.

I have come to the conclusion it will arrive when it arrives, annoying yes but not much we can do

Thing that was annoying me was orders at the same time as mine coming forward but mine going backwards rotate

Delivery estimates with global logistics is as much forecasting as anything else. You are having to factor in things that may happen in 3 months time, and when they don't, you can revise the ETA.

Those of you who've been told you can't have wireless charging, I've just had the dreaded email (sob) Have you had anything else added in its place? husband reckons it won't be possible but just thought I'd put the feelers out and see if anyone has managed it and what's comparable cost-wise?

Almost 2000miles in 3 weeks. I’ll try launch control tomorrow.

I love it, fast but 50mpg is easily achievable on a motorway run. I can even fit a bike in the boot with the seats dropped and the front wheel off (off the bike).

Ordered 128ti through Arnold Clark 26/03, they have been saying mid October delivery. Managed to get the factory order number and yesterday BMW told me that it’s now 18th November delivery. Thinking of cancelling
order now as cannot wait that long, has anyone
ordered via AC been quoted earlier delivery dates than this?
What a downer 😒

Just note they will charge you to cancel the order

From what I have seen the bmw updates are all over the place so wouldn’t be surprised if it came before November

I was told that the cost of the wireless charging would just be taken off the monthly payments… not sure how much it is like lol

I ordered through AC mid march and was told July delivery. I spoke to BMW direct who gave me the build slot week being late August and arrival at dealer mid Sept so don't rely on the AC updates either.

TBH It's pants. Poorly sited at the front of the centre console, I have an i 8 with a shockproof case and I struggle to slot it into place . The rubber grip is far too thick .

Wireless charging is indeed rubbish, a near worthless option.

When I play music from my phone through the car's speakers via Android Auto, and when I am reversing to park and the reverse camera activates, the audio becomes choppy. The audio constantly stops and starts and stops and starts, as though something is crashing and not operating properly. And it doesn't matter what I try to do to fix it, nothing works, and I end up turning the audio off. I don't know what it is yet, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced something similar. It happens regardless of whether I play music on Spotify or TuneIn Radio, or any app that plays music on my phone. And it also happened once when I merely changed from the Android Auto screen to my home screen on IDrive. My workaround for the time being is to play music from my phone via Bluetooth. It doesn't happen when I play music via Bluetooth.

Mate ordered an M135i June 1st (via local dealer, not a lease). Was told August delivery. Few days later got a call to say it would arrive July. Another update this week to say car now built but no firm dates on delivery, possibly two weeks.
