Not from what I've read, but happy to be corrected by someone! The brochure I was sent has it down under optional equipment for all models?

First post, and sparked off by this car!

I've been rolling with a grande punto sporting for the past 10 years, and thought it's finally time to upgrade. Got in touch with Leanna as I thought David might be swamped, but he got in touch anyway. Asked him about the following on a 3+35 deal on 8k miles.

Misano blue
18" wheels with the optional performance tyres
Cloth upholstery
Berlin Trim
Deletion of exterior design elements
Through-loading system
Front lumbar support
Sun protection glass

Shame you can't get the H&K system on its own as I'd like that without the 19" alloys, but anything is going to better than my ancient halfords sound system.
Front lumbar support - that isn't stock?
Yes HK is available as separate option, adds £16.01 per month to mine.

Not at all, thanks! Depends on what you’re used to I guess. £500 doesn’t seem bad value for adaptive suspension but I tend to go poverty spec on my lease cars and the reality is I won’t be doing loads of long journeys in it.

Both my Golf Rs came with Bridgestones. Despite doing terribly in every tyre test I’ve seen they worked pretty well on the Golf, certainly until they were well worn. Apparently they were used during development of the car. I fitted PS4 when I needed replacements and they were very good, as you’d expect - quite noisy when worn but the Bridgestone probably were too.

Been 1 week today since I sent off my application - still no word back (Carol has been very helpful and has chased the underwriters more than once).

Really odd, usually I get accepted straight away.

Anybody else still waiting for a reply from the finance company?

Mine went through today after applying on Friday. AC did say there had been lots of applications.

Maybe your credit is no good biggrin

I put my application in this evening so I’ll soon see if mine is any better!

The performance tyres no cost option, is that only for the 128ti?

Is it not for the 135? or do they have them as standard.

Only an option on the 128ti. The 135 has been delivered on different tyres. Mostly Bridgestone Potenza S005 or Continental Premium Contact 6.

The 128ti gets the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s as a free upgrade.

It’s strange the best tyres are on the 128ti.

Well that’s me officially onboard now and Janice has been very patient and quick to respond to my revised quote requests!

Spec nailed down on Monday, Janice had Joanna send me the PCH Application docs and I filled it on Monday evening, all agreed on Tuesday afternoon. PCH Hire Agreement sent by email yesterday, completed and returned, car was showing as On Order when I checked my Autocentre portal link last night (it shows as required for 01/03/2021 but we all know we’re looking at 16 weeks or so, which suits me perfectly). Can’t ask for better service than that!

So the car/deal is as follows:
128ti Step Auto
Misano Blue with Boston trim
Sun Protection Glass
Heated Steering Wheel
Front Lumbar
Performance tyre upgrade (no cost)
3+35, 5000 miles per year, excess miles at 13.5p (negligible difference contracting to 5000 miles and paying excess to contracting to 8000 miles so seemed sensible)
VED, Full maintenance, no quibble tyres & AA included

One thing I did notice is on the agreement it states that a revised rental of £292.12 including service charge is payable for each month of extension past the original contract - so it looks like we already know the cost of extending should the need arise and it suits our circumstances.

Hope all is going well for fellow applicants and we can get some pics up when the time comes!

Sent my application off last night.

Storm bay
Good tyres
Sunset glass
Sunroof
Full maintenance and no quibble tyres

6+35 15k per year. £366 a month.

If it is 16 weeks, that suits me perfectly as my current lease ends on 20th June.

I was told the same thing - I've just thankfully been accepted! It only took a week :O

Haha - Steve, I was getting worried! I've never been declined for anything in my life - but then again, I am only 29!

Thankfully I've now been accepted and I'll get the order placed fully by the end of the week.

Huge sigh of relief!

Does anybody know the 'extra over' sort of cost for the no quibble tyres please? I didn't realise this was an option on the M135i, I have the service pack but not tyres and am starting to think I may be better with the extra if I can add it on at this late stage for me.

thanks

Depends on spec and mileage, but on 12k a year is was £36 a month. Its not just tyres, its full maintenance, no quibble tires and AA roadside.

Anyone had a proper delivery date yet from the dealer?

(Leanne emailed on Monday to say the order was with the dealer and she would update me once they had a date but nothing as yet).

Had an update from Leanne this morning on my order.

“update from BMW on the progress of the M135i. The vehicle is at this moment in time, showing as due to land at the dealership late July. Now this date is subject to change and could move in or out but this is the information that I have been given at this moment in time.”

I asked again for a bmw order number but have been told AC will be the main way to get an update...I hate waiting!

Yes, Janice has contacted me to say that BMW are now quoting July for my ordered 128ti. Again, no problem for me but I think with such uncertainties going on in the world we’re all just going to have to go with the flow.

Hmm I assume I don't have AA as mine is £11.70 £11.21 on the same mileage/spec, isn't there 3yrs breakdown on the car fom new as standard anyway?

I think AA is included from BMW, it's certainly mentioned in the online 1-series brochure. If for some reason it doesn't apply to 'fleet' deals then I know I'm still getting it as it's on my quotes from AC.
