Giving up on my AC lease for a 128ti. So it’s up for grabs if anyone would like it.
3+35, 9k miles p.a, Black, Decal Delete, Parking Assist and Upgraded Lights. (When ordering it came to £335pm although likely to be lower now as the tech pack got removed/wireless charging).
Ordered in May 2021, expected build Aug 22
Drop me a PM.
Certainly interested in this SSG, however I'm currently paying the 24hr price for never having registered for PH in all the years I've been following the leasing threads, so cannot PM you until tomorrow. Will do so then, but if I miss the boat (or have already done so anyway), then that's just the way it goes. Cheers for offering it out anyway.3+35, 9k miles p.a, Black, Decal Delete, Parking Assist and Upgraded Lights. Just been on the genius chat, mine has gone from July 4th to September 19th. This was originally ordered in May 2021. The cars going to be ready for a museum when it turns up. I've bought a run around to cover me, but i don't think its going to last that long haha.
Wow, ordered mine May 28th and picked it up July 28th 2021 - I think it helped that i went for a standard car with no options and storm bay.I struggled enough waiting 2 months... i would be climbing the walls if i was still waiting for it!!
you're a more patient being than i am!

My July 2021 order is now at build stage 150 and is expected week 23 (starting 6th of June)
Ordered through Arnold Clark.
To the soften the blow the MY22 seems to be an overall improvement over its F40 predecessors.
I just had to tell a customer his June 2022 M135i has now been pushed back to October, as with all the others.Ordered through Arnold Clark.

Now the third time these models have been pushed back this year.
Still worth waiting for if you have one on order. By the time these cars arrive the APR will be 8% at this rate!

Hi Cuprashef, I’ve been told by my dealer that my car is at stage 150 as well. Is there anyway if checking online what stage our cars are at to double check what I’ve been told? Ordered through Arnold Clark.

You can grab your order number off your order sheet, and either call BMW customer services or talk to them via the chatbox thing on their site. Thanks
Kevin
As long as the order's in your name they'll give you an update. They only see what the dealer sees.

I've been using a mix of online genius and BMW customer services. I've Just given them the order number and asked for status including code and the projected week of delivery. Thanks
Kevin
Last time I checked the status was 193 at EU port which was updated on the 23rd of May. Still on for delivery wc 6th June (so far)
Sorry to hear about those caught in long waiting times for your car!
I thought I'd add a few thoughts 12 months in to 128ti ownership.
My car came fitted with Pirelli Pzero tyres and I have never been happy with the ride quality, however after an unfortunate blowout at 6000 miles my car got towed to the dealer who could not source a Pzero tyre, so I just authorised them to fit 2 x new Michelin PS4s on the front.
Just replacing the 2 front tyres was pretty transformative to the general ride quality and road noise, they are a much better tyre for this car.
Also the BMW dealer did not fit the BMW star rated version of these tyres, which of course made them cheaper!
However they did tell me that after 6000 miles my front brake pads were 75% worn and rear pads were 67% worn and the fronts needed "urgent" replacement. I was obviously horrified and told them they are incorrect and that I will replace the brake pads when the warning light comes on.
They tried this on with my wife on her F56 Mini JCW at around 11,000 miles, however the brake pade change warning has just come on at 20,000 miles (far more reasonable).
I would say this is just our local dealer, (Marshalls of Salisbury fyi) but I've heard that this is not uncommon.
Anyway good luck with getting / owning your car, this thread helped me secure a good deal on my car and as ever I'm grateful to the PH community

On the subject of tyres (M135i) I’ve just literally ordered 4x19” PZero’s (star rated) to replace the Bridgestones at just over 10k miles done.
The fronts in the centre are down to the wear marker pretty much even though I’ve had 35/36PSI in them from delivery (had 40-odd PSI on delivery!), a standard trait of the Bridgestones it seems (ref Babybmw forum).
Rears are ok but I’ll sell them on eBay or such like, at least this way and going off reports the PZero’s will last until the car is handed back in 2 years (12-14k more miles) rather than the BS needing replacing again and likely the rears at the same time.
The PZero’s are apparently a step up from the BS so we’ll see in a few days…….

The 135i has a different suspension setup, the PZero's may well be a good fit, yes the Bridgestones do get slated, there can be no smoke without fire! The fronts in the centre are down to the wear marker pretty much even though I’ve had 35/36PSI in them from delivery (had 40-odd PSI on delivery!), a standard trait of the Bridgestones it seems (ref Babybmw forum).

How is the car to drive? I might order one in the autumn. Thanks. I thought I'd add a few thoughts 12 months in to 128ti ownership.

I find it very quick, gearbox is good, the technology / layout / interior quality is all excellent.
I've got mine for 3 years so spec'd heated steering wheel / rear tints / Harmon Kardon / sunroof and wireless charge dock, the options added about £90 to the base lease, which was very competitive at the time (Feb 2021).
I would recommend it if you want a 'GTI like' car.
They have just updated the M135i though, so worth a look if you don't mind paying the extra.
My M135i order from July 2021 has been sitting with Arnold Clark for a couple of weeks.
Its been arranged to be delivered on the 5th.
I just had the pro pack optioned. Apart from the permanent removal of the idrive gesture/touch control and the temporary removal of the wifi, AA and CP its all come as optioned. Although not poverty spec mine is pretty basic though.
