Out of curosity what price did people get quoted on 6+35 on 8k miles

Ive initally gone for 6k miles but asked for 8k miles and there was a 15 pound difference.

Just a bit curious as looking from other peoples quotes posted on here didnt think it would be that big of a diffefence

It depends on the quoted excess mileage, say its 11p per mile.
So you will pay for an additional 6000 miles over the 3 years.
I'm assuming the £15 has to be accomodated in the deposit.
Say your agreement is £270 per month for 6K miles per anum, total outlay is 6+35 * £270 = £11,070
For 8K miles the monthly is £285, so total outlay is 6+35 * £285 = £11,685
So the difference over the course of the agreement is £11,685 - £11,070 = £615.00
At 11p per mile * 6000 miles = £660.00

So it will cost you £45 more in total to just settle at the end.

I always find it best to put all the calculations in a Google spreadsheet.

Thanks all got quotes now. Just picking my options.

What configurator is best to use? Can only spec a 118 on BMW website which seems to miss at least alloy options or do I just need to work with that?

Going toward storm bay, sun protection glass and lumbar and probably servicing.

Need to decide on 18" 553 w/ performance tyres or 19" 552 @ £595. Both suit the car well.

Boston is lighter in the daylight with a different light up pattern than Berlin.

BMW Configurator lets you pick 128ti / M135i - pick 'Change Model' to swap it.

Yep. I think there's six to choose from but you can code others.

I'd pretty much decided to buy one of these as I can get just over £5k off list. Bit these lease deals are very tempting!

I've had some figures back from AC and these are based on 3+36 (I'm assuming the 'Initial Pause' payment of 1 gets added to the standard payments of 35). Can anybody say what the best profile is to go for? I don't really care how many months I pay up front - just interested in getting the costs down.

Would be going metallic, sun protection glass and probably tech pack. The HUD is amazing!
