Had an email from AC to say all has been done at their end and the dealership has the order so they are waiting on an ETA.
Was told to basically ignore the ETA in the portal initially as it’s a date they have put in (sounds like they have to put something in), once the dealership comes back it will be updated I assume.

Can I ask the deal you got as this is the spec I was thinking about?
Spec above, plus rear armrest is costing me c. £245 per month on a 6+36 basis. I believe the rear armrest adds about a fiver on per month, very roughly.

Includes the service pack as well.
135 or 128?
Must be a 128 compared to other quotes.

Has anyone else had a Direct Debit request come through from AC? All other e-mails have hit my normal inbox but this one seems to have landed in my junk. Coupled with the fact it's not an AC e-mail but instead "gocardless", just wanted to check its legitimacy.

Thanks.
Yes it's fine, had this last Friday and mine is now set up to 'Arnold Clark Finance Limited'.

Nice. I’d keep the red detailing especially on the black. Great choice mate.

I was torn between misano blue and storm bay grey. Ended up with the grey as current Cupra is blue.

Been surfing the lease thread daily for 6 months. Lucky this deal popped up. I almost gave up and was already looking at used 330d’s.
Funnily enough this is replacing a blue Cupra so Misano was discounted right away, didnt want black, Mrs doesnt like Storm Bay or red so that was white or mineral grey. As metallic is bascially the same price and my own last 3 cars were white (last 2 were BMW's, M135i and M2, we are now down to one car) i went for the mineral. Think it looks really good and wanted the M2 in that colour really.

Pic stolen from babybmw.net....m135i with 557m;

Personally I wanted the 19’s and HK so it was a no brainer, wasn’t bothered about anything else and as it is a lease I wanted to keep the cost under control.

Have a look at this thread for standard vs HK opinions.

I’ll probably take GAP just for piece of mind.

Prices with MSE discount seem decent although one code expires end of March, might be renewed?

Still no progress on my order and not heard from Harry Fairbairn BMW Glasgow (this is who AC order through) with any details. Any one got past order submitted?
Nope, just an email from Leanne yesterday saying the dealer had the order, they were waiting on an ETA and that she would check it everyday and update me once she knows a date.

Ride quality?. Hmm...... not nice a little bit unsettled like the run flats on my 3 series
Thanks. Bit worrying but hopefully playing with the pressures a bit and an increase in ambient temperature will see things improve. I’m sticking with 18s but not planning on adding adaptive suspension...
i've read plenty on babybmw.net and most seemed to imply the 19's on the F40 M135i were a better ride than 18's on the F20 M135i.
I believe stock pressures are on the high side as well, maybe 'ThePrisoner' has checked his/hers though?

Gone for Berlin myself.

Yep the initial will usually be around the delivery or so (it'll be in theT&C's no doubt, surei've seen it), if you had gone with a broker they will usually charge a fee (£200-300) and want it once you place the order. Main dealers don't charge this fee or I havent heard of one doing so, it's certainly not happened in my experience.

Anyone had a proper delivery date yet from the dealer?

(Leanne emailed on Monday to say the order was with the dealer and she would update me once they had a date but nothing as yet).

I am paying £14.70/month for maintainence and AA recovery but no tyres.
Hmm I assume I don't have AA as mine is £11.70 £11.21 on the same mileage/spec, isn't there 3yrs breakdown on the car fom new as standard anyway?

Boston is lighter in the daylight with a different light up pattern than Berlin.

This might help a little:- https://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1303...

Thanks all got quotes now. Just picking my options.

What configurator is best to use? Can only spec a 118 on BMW website which seems to miss at least alloy options or do I just need to work with that?

Going toward storm bay, sun protection glass and lumbar and probably servicing.

Need to decide on 18" 553 w/ performance tyres or 19" 552 @ £595. Both suit the car well.
BMW Configurator lets you pick 128ti / M135i - pick 'Change Model' to swap it.

I'd pretty much decided to buy one of these as I can get just over £5k off list. Bit these lease deals are very tempting!

I've had some figures back from AC and these are based on 3+36 (I'm assuming the 'Initial Pause' payment of 1 gets added to the standard payments of 35). Can anybody say what the best profile is to go for? I don't really care how many months I pay up front - just interested in getting the costs down.

Would be going metallic, sun protection glass and probably tech pack. The HUD is amazing!
My quotes had that but it is 3+35 ie 36 months in total with 3 payments in the first month, then 35 standard monthly payments.

Best profile is up to you, not sure you save much or anything with 6 or 9 up front but you can only judge that with a quote on those terms.
Make sure you get GAP to cover the initial payment if you go for a larger up front because if it’s written off on day 1 you’ll kiss goodbye to it (AFAIK).

Current family car is a Leon Cupra (DSG) which we’ve had for 2 years by the end of July (it’s a lease). Prior to that we had another Leon Cupra (manual) on lease so the M135i is a change, I don’t think I could of gone down in power to a 128 personally and I fancied xdrive (well some of the time!) rather than FWD.

Also the fact we are down to a single car in the family I decided to spend a little more than I would of normally or at least it made the decision easier.

Hello,

Anyone have an order for M135i base car with service/tyres and 5k per year with metallic?

Wondering what the cost would be? And excess mileage cost as well.

Not sure if the tech pack would be worth it.

TIA
2nd post in the thread went for;

135i storm bay with sun protection glass
3+35 6k miles £306

On a quote increasing 8k miles to 9k miles for me added on £10pm on a 3+35. With tyres (prices include the service pack as standard) i'd work off roughly £320pm on 3+35 using the above as a base (metallic adds something like £1 a month as its 'on offer' apparently).

Excess mileage not sure, mine is 11.7p per mile but seen others quoting more.

Did anybody go for the 135i 6x35 5k?

If so can I ask what it came in at? Reading this has got me thinking I maybe should have went for it and just take the hit on excess.
I'd just add the total up for a 3+35 so cost per month multiplied by 38 then divided by 41 for 6+35, it will give you a good ballpark (potentially 100% accurate depending on if they knock a little off for paying more up front....some do and some don't).

Hello for anyone interested I got a quote back today for the following

M135i storm grey on 5k miles with service/tyres/AA on a 1+35 profile and it is 339.18

Adding the tech pack brings it to 360.19

Anyone know what taking the service pack and tyres off brings down the cost? Might just go back and ask directly. It will only need 1 service, anyone know who is funding this deal?
Going off other quotes quoted I would say the tyres/AA are adding on £20/25 a month. Servicing for me on 8k is quoted at ~£11pm on 3+35. I think a brake fluid change is also needed at the first service and factor in £350 ish for the total first service cost. Note the car comes with 3yrs breakdown anyway.
Funder is quoted as Close Brothers with AC as the approved agent.

No service/tyres price comes down to 324.98 and 345.98 respectively, so £14 for service/tyres

2nd post in has effectively paid £323pm for 6k miles for the same....maybe the fact they went for 3 up front has reduced the cost, you might be able to get it £10pm or just under cheaper if you paid 3 up front?

Will you need 4 tyres or only 2 over 15k miles? If the former you’ll be slightly quids in but the latter you’ll be out of pocket.
