I'd pretty much decided to buy one of these as I can get just over £5k off list. Bit these lease deals are very tempting!

I've had some figures back from AC and these are based on 3+36 (I'm assuming the 'Initial Pause' payment of 1 gets added to the standard payments of 35). Can anybody say what the best profile is to go for? I don't really care how many months I pay up front - just interested in getting the costs down.

Would be going metallic, sun protection glass and probably tech pack. The HUD is amazing!
My quotes had that but it is 3+35 ie 36 months in total with 3 payments in the first month, then 35 standard monthly payments.

Best profile is up to you, not sure you save much or anything with 6 or 9 up front but you can only judge that with a quote on those terms.
Make sure you get GAP to cover the initial payment if you go for a larger up front because if it’s written off on day 1 you’ll kiss goodbye to it (AFAIK).

Yep. I think there's six to choose from but you can code others.
As long as I can choose red to match the accents outside.

I know its personal preference but i really can't work out to go with the 128ti or pay a bit extra for the 135...looking to place an order but cant make my mind up! Will be used as a second fun weekend car..6k miles max a year.
Has anyone drove both and main differences between the 2? I wont be speccing them up as want to keep costs down and for the price it seems a good lease option..

To be honest as a second car surely something like an MX5 or GT86 would be a better choice with a sensible weekday car . I’m only leasing a 128 as I can o my really have one car so it needs to be a company, family and fun car.

I have a feeling red isn't one of the standard six colours! If you check out some of the ThatTi videos on YouTube there's a good demo of the interior lighting.

what made you decide 128 over the 135?

20k miles per year was a strong influence!

I haven't driven either.

But for me its the 'head over heart' scenario...or rather 'heart over head'.

The128 is cheaper and arguably more fun to drive on a daily basis. But it was the same when chose a Golf R over a GTI a few years back...I though that if I was driving my GTI & I saw a Golf R, I knew I would be thinking 'I should've had one of those..the extra power, grip'.

Thats one of the reasons I chose the 135. I looked at the reviews for both & each has its merits. These deals aren't around forever, I have missed out on several deals so whatever you decide make sure its done soon.

Current family car is a Leon Cupra (DSG) which we’ve had for 2 years by the end of July (it’s a lease). Prior to that we had another Leon Cupra (manual) on lease so the M135i is a change, I don’t think I could of gone down in power to a 128 personally and I fancied xdrive (well some of the time!) rather than FWD.

Also the fact we are down to a single car in the family I decided to spend a little more than I would of normally or at least it made the decision easier.

Hello,

Anyone have an order for M135i base car with service/tyres and 5k per year with metallic?

Wondering what the cost would be? And excess mileage cost as well.

Not sure if the tech pack would be worth it.

TIA

Did anybody go for the 135i 6x35 5k?

If so can I ask what it came in at? Reading this has got me thinking I maybe should have went for it and just take the hit on excess.

2nd post in the thread went for;

135i storm bay with sun protection glass
3+35 6k miles £306

On a quote increasing 8k miles to 9k miles for me added on £10pm on a 3+35. With tyres (prices include the service pack as standard) i'd work off roughly £320pm on 3+35 using the above as a base (metallic adds something like £1 a month as its 'on offer' apparently).

Excess mileage not sure, mine is 11.7p per mile but seen others quoting more.

I'd just add the total up for a 3+35 so cost per month multiplied by 38 then divided by 41 for 6+35, it will give you a good ballpark (potentially 100% accurate depending on if they knock a little off for paying more up front....some do and some don't).

I got approved on my finance on Thursday morning and was advised that paperwork would be sent through over the "next few days".

Not had anything yet.

How long did those who have also ordered have to wait between finance approval and getting the final paperwork and agreements signed/sent off?

Finance forms submitted on Thursday morning. Approved that day and the order signed on Friday.

Had the same finance approved mail but on Wednesday morning. Only thing I've had since is a mail about activating an Autocentre account.

I'm eager to get everything completed but not too worried as they will be incredibly busy.

Are Arnold Clark the best people to approach for a deal on an in-stock 128ti or m135i? I can't be without a car for 16 weeks or so.

Carwow/Leaseloco are showing some m135i as in stock, but can you change the spec?

Also, what ballpark figure should I be looking for for either car with:

3+35, 8k, non-white paint and upgraded stereo?

Ta!
