In a dilemma,

Have a cupra which end in May, £270 a month. Tried to extend but went upto £410 so said no.

Ordered 128ti, happy with a mid June delivery date

Slipped back to Aug/Sep now and Leasing Options have said my renewal for 12 months on the Cupra is £203.9+ VAT. However this is not in writing as such as they can’t raise the contract till later this month

Spoke to David, he said I should be able to cancel still (it’s all signed etc) but my worry is I cancel this BMW and then Leasing Options say oh no the price has gone up by £100 we got it wrong etc even though I am assured it won’t change but as it’s not officially in writing on a contract and I am a bit weary

This is a bit of a pickled indeed. Can you not leave cancelling the BM till the last minute just incase?

Is it definitely Aug/Sep that delivery is likely for? Someone else in here said they checked with BMW and they’re actually looking at a May delivery, despite what the AC tracker says. Might be worth speaking to BMW directly? Though I don’t think the poster mentioned how they contacted bmw to find out.

Apologies for slow reply to those asking about how to get more info. I basically pushed my questions to Harry fairbairn bmw Glasgow. Try to get someone in contract hires / fleet and they will be able to dig a bmw order number out. Then go to bmw live chat and ask for an update.
It takes a while to get anywhere but is possible

Who is the Cupra financed with? My Cupra was ordered from Lookers (Stockport) but financed by VWFS. Called VWFS direct and they will keep same monthlies for up to 6 months.

It’s financed by Leaseplan and sourced by Leasing Options.

Leasing Options have told me they can do 5% off 6 months and 10% off 12 months extension which brings it down to about £247 a month!

Having spoke to David, he has been absolutely top notch and cannot fault him, so I think I’m going to go with 6 months extension on the Cupra and delay the BMW till November, saves messing everyone about and guarantees we will have a car.

I have the exact same car and deal....If you call Leaseplan up you can just extend pro rata per day basically as long as you want on the same rate. Ours is due back in April and the BMW is due in August, so we can basically tell them when to come collect the Cupra once we have a delivery date of the BMW, so you shouldn't have to sign a 6 month extension.

Heated Steering Wheel is £3.20 per month. So is the Driver & Passenger Front Lumbar. Can’t help with H&K other than to say from what I see you pay about 80% of the factory cost of the options over the term.

The AC prices are quite a chunk cheaper but are factory orders, maybe paying extra for the earlier delivery there.

According to the AC Web portal 27th August. If that's the case I'll just hold out to September for the new reg.

Yup, 16th August for me. I was told around 14 weeks though so not too fussed. Would still like it for summer though!

My quote was £280 from AC for the equivalent model albeit on 3+35. I can't be waiting until August for delivery so I am happy to pay a slight premium.

Enjoy! Post pics in here just to annoy all of us with the long wait. laugh

The lead time works in with my current lease but can understand it won’t with everyone.
