Put my hard earned down at the dealers for this beast, seems through hearsay i might add that i new more than them about it, look forward to a call from them with more info and to spec it up.

Do you mean that you have put a deposit down with the BMW dealers for one?
I am interested myself, but am concerned that BMW will bottle it when it comes to the final design. Have you seen anything more than the Frankfurt pictures?

Mrs. has put a deposit down on a 3.0 Coupe, seems to tick all the boxes on our "practical car" wish list. Hoping it'll stay true to the autocar pics when it hits production..... and we're first on the dealers list although they did seem to know a bit about it (inevitably tried to puhs the M version).

Did they have the spec for the M version ? It strikes me looking at the attached link in the previous posts, that they are expecting to extract a lot of extra grunt from the 3.2. I always thought that the CSL engine was pretty close to the limit of it's development hence the foray in to V engines for future M cars. it would be interesting to see what it will weigh with all this talk of lightweight materials being used, I will be surprised if it breaks 1300kg which is still too damm heavy. Coupled to the predictable chocolate brakes I fear a letdown, which will be a real shame as personally it is potentially one of the nicer looking BMW's.

Looks the dogs in my opinion. Rumors within BMW say that the production car will look exactly like the concept. However, the rumors also say it'll be out in the shops next year..

Received a receipt and order confirmation form from the dealers but its very vague as i thought it would be.If the rumours are anything to go buy they'll be using the s54 m3 csl engine utilising 360bhp,Yikes !!! and i thought my breadvan woz quick, guess it'll be around 40K, best get the overtime in !!!
