I think you will be lucky to get an insurance company who won't insure an M3 without a Tracker.

We had an M3 value £28K and we had to have a tracker

We now have an Tamora value £40K and we don't have to have a tracker.

The insurance for both cars was around the £700 mark.

The problem is that an M3 like a Porsche is deemed as desirable and therefore a tracker is not negotiable.

Admiral don't require a tracker. Watch out for the "we only insure for basic factory spec" clause though.

Liverpool & Victoria used to be cheapest by a long way for M3's and don't require a tracker - they won't insure anyone under 30 on one though, which is why I had to change insurers when put g/friend on policy

Also had a claim with L & V and it was dealt with quickly and without fuss

I've just changed to Masterquote - £456.00. That's their quote with no tracker, although I do have one.

Blimey !

280 quid a month just in insurance ?

Let's not forget servicing or fuel costs, either.

Did you take it to track days ?

I really hope so.

Oh, and the finance as well...

I wish I had of taken it to track days, instead of stuffing it into a ditch after a year!
