Im after a set of Hartge or Alpina 16inch wheels but they are rare and hense expensive
You will probably have tried them already, but http://www.fritzsbits.co.uk/ might be worth a try - specialises in breaking older BMWs. I was looking for a set of Alpina rims for my M635 and was quoted a decent price (I can't remember how much it was but it wasn't frightening - I ended up selling the car before buying any though).

Have to say, that Touring looks great on those wheels. Nicely in proportion, not too blingy.

That was the idea, also big wheels with rubber band tyres screw up the handling.

E30 325i. are they quick?
Just had mine on the rollers and was producing 121 at the wheels so that about 165hp, just off factory spec of 170hp but it probably loses a bit through the auto.

They are relativly light cars so very nippy, mine pulls 120mph easily with more to come (top should be 130mph)

The e30zone do their own chips for £55 which I have yet to fit. The guy that does them will be at Lakeside in his turbo'd 325i
When they were new the road tests of the time put them at about 19-20 seconds for the sprint to a ton. Usually about 130-132ish top end. The steering is a real arm-twirler ( 4.1 turns lock to lock ) compared to modern stuff but you can fit a quicker rack off an E36 to save your arms!
