Alpina Roadster S Production Figures - UK

Just received a message from Neil. (Alpina Register)
Final production figures for UK cars are as follows:

103 in 2004
63 in 2005

166 UK cars in total.

That will be the final figure as production has now ended.

Excellent. Now since mine was built in 2004 but first registered in 2005, do I count it in the '04 or '05 total?

You will be in the 04 total as numbers are calculated based upon when Sytner imported the cars.

Apologies if I have the wrong person, but your car looks ever so familiar! Was it you I got talking to about your Aplina Z4 (E** ALP) last summer 2005 at the Nurburgring, in the early evening prior to close?

I was the chap about to take delivery of my T350T but was having last minute jitters. You and your good lady wife were telling me all about your Alpina at the top of the paddock and I took some appaling pictures thanks to the low sun!

Hope you had a good time at the 'Ring.
I see from your profile that you went ahead with the TVR.
Hope it's trouble free and you are enjoying it.
As stated I think at the time ... my first two TVR'S gave me no major problems, but the third (my second Tuscan)that I had bought "new" gave me nothing but trouble and TVR's customer service was non-existant. I will not buy another on principal.
Anyway, getting over being bitter and twisted now ... still got the Alpina and I can't see me selling it on for a good while yet.
