Help Please re BMW engines !!!!

Hi,
I have a 1995 LPG converted 740i and have just had a front end smash. I have seen a 1995 730i with good bodywork and wondered how easy it would be and how expensive (roughly) to put my 740i engine with LPG conversion into the 730i body. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.

Same emgine! The M60 block is indentical. The only difference is the bore size and quite a few bhp.
On the expense front, I think the cheapest way would be to forget your 4 litre engine and just swap the lpg kit over. The 3 litre engine is preety good. - Unless you are a DIY hero, I cant see the engine swap being worth the money.

Ive spoken to several BMW garages about a similar thing, minus the LPG.
The 730i you're looking at, being the 1995 I presume it would also be a V8 correct?
If so, the engine mountings should be damn near identical and shouldnt be too much of a pain in the ass to swap.
You might want to check it out first though, there might be problems with all the electrical bollox and gearbox mating problems and such to deal with first!
