It wasn't me, the alloys were like it when we bought the car...

Anyway, can someone recommend a good company for a refurb? I'm based near Fleet or Guildford...

Also, if anyone is thinking about having a 330i tuned, Ray @West Tuning's the man! Cat back exhaust, carbon ram filter and a remap...mmmmm, mm, the car now goes and sounds as it should have done in the first place!

Cheers,

DTC.

on the dyno with cr@p fuel and on a warm day 262bhp was produced and the torque made a healthy jump too, can't remember how to read the graph for the torque in FtLb though - d'oh! Apparently the cars good for a reliable 270 while on the move given the effect of the ram filter and cool air. I also now run the car purely op Shell or BP high octane.

Charles Bhanot is local to you and does a fantastic job. Give him a call on (07970) 914108.

Yes he does CSL wheels as well - I actually got his number from a CSL owner.

I'm thinking of getting mine down to Ray West (bit dearer than DMS though?) - any chance of getting a .wav file of the noise your car makes now, for those of us who aren't quite sure?

As far as wheel refurb - had my Hartge 19" jobs all done by Wicked Wheels on the Slyfield in Guildford and they did a cracking job.

I don't know how expensive DMS are, sorry. The service I received from Ray and the end product totally justify the price IMHO.

As for a wave file, sorry I am not that flash with that guff...but I do have a Sony digital camera that has quite good sound recording ability. I'll use that if you like and mail you the footage.

Let me know,

Cheers,

DTC.

Having now seen and heard the vid I can confirm a GruppeM and Milltek equipped 330 sound great, and can also confirm that Jason ('droptheclutch') and his wife are stars!
