Posted on behalf of a work colleague who has a 330Ci Cab...

Problem occurs when driving quickly around long sweeping corners (but not quickly enough to cause wheel slip) for example motorway slip roads. If he takes the corners reasonably fast, the TC kicks in and starts to kill the engine.

We have checked that all the tyres are correct size / pressure.

Any known problems with this / anything else we can check?

Its still under warranty but he has already been fobbed off once and he doesn't know enough to be able to fight his corner.

Suggestions please?

Sounds like it is doing what it is supposed to do, there are 'Yaw Rate sensors' that detect cornering forces if it feels the car is going to break away it will operate DSC by either backing off power or applying one or more brakes to pull it back into line.
Of course he could try the same bend with the DSC switched off and see what happens just make sure nothing else is on the road at the time.

If he was pushing the car I could understand it but he's not pushing it that hard. I have a BMW 320d and can go around the same corners at the same speed without the electronics kicking in so there must be a problem somewhere..

Any other ideas?
