I'm thinking of selling my 300ZX and getting a more "sensible" car....namely a 3-series.

After the 280 bhp of the Nissan, I'd really like a 323 or a 328 but think my budget of £6-7k will only stretch to a '95/'96 318iS. I am right in assuming this is the 140bhp model that was only available for a short period?

Any info on values would be greatly appreciated. As mentioned, I'm looking for a 7-8 year old model, not too bothered about the mileage as long as it's got FSH.

Cheers

I had a 200sx and loved it, then went onto a Scooby. have you thought of that?

Im sure you will find more fun then a similar priced BM. Going from the scooby to a BM was very dissapointing for me, now got a porker.

But the scooby was one of the best cars ever owned.

Took a 323 Coupe (full M/Tech suspension etc) out for a spin yesterday. Had to say I was impressed with it's refinement (gawd, I'm getting old!) and the sound of the straight six. Acceleration was a bit tardy, but then we're only talking 170bhp, not the 280 I've got at the moment. Handling/ride seemed fine to me, and the gearbox was sweet.

I also love the look of the E36 Beemers, especially with this one's M3 look bodykit.

I respect the Scooby, but it just doesn't float my boat. Each to their own I suppose.

Now, anyone want to buy my Zed?
