I have a friend thats looking for a high spec X5 4.4 he has found a car that has the following spec : 2001 X BMW X5 4.4i V8 SPORT 5dr Auto Estate,
59,000 miles, Extras include, satnav, TV, DVD, Rear Screens, Remote Headphones, Heated Front and Back Seats, Memory Seats, Front TV, Xenon Headlights, Bull Bar, Side Steps, Double Glazed Tinted privacy glass windows, Folding Mirrors, Electric sunroof, Black Leather, Sport pack with Aliminum. Black. 3x3 point rear seat belts, Air conditioning, Alarm, Alloy wheels, Audio remote control, Cruise control. The car needs an oil service and is described as in good but not perfect condition, any ideas what it would be worth as a private sale with no BMW warranty?

4.4 is hard work due to fuel consumption, a colleague of mine has one with 90k on the clock, a year newer, fsh and warranty and he has just been offered £13k.

the one above is private, without warranty and needs a service.

Would agree with the above. I was looking at the 4.4 (ended up with a 4.6) and was looking at 2001 with the same spec, 20k miles, with recent service and balance of warranty at £20k. So with service due, no warranty, shed load more miles I would say 15k is about right.

Tell your mate to look on Autotrader there are better bargains. Big engined cars like that always look and sell on better when low milaege, so would not look too high.... and there are some bargains in the Ad's....

Cheers for the replies chaps, a lot of the cheaper cars dont have Nav, but I think he has come to the conclusion that it is too expensive.
