I am considering getting a 535D to replace my Porsche 996 Turbo. Couple of questions.

(1) I’ve heard the auto box is a tad weak and can’t quite take the power or more importantly the torque ? Also is it more akin to the M5 box or the same as the 530D ?

(2) What economy does one get on the motorway at say 90 mph constant ?

(3) Are there any know weak spots on the car, design flaws or irritations ?

(4) Can it come with folding rear seats ?

Thanks for reading.

1) no issues with box, it is the same as the 530d not the m5
2) 35+
3) some people dont like run flats, ride is better if you spec up type 172 mixed alloys, with space saver as these are not run flats
4)- yup order thru load facility.

great car.

Fully agree with all comments, particularly run flats.

Just been to Le Mans and scared a few sporty boys.
