bmw 325i coupe - 2001 - keeps stalling

Hi guys,

Had my coupe for about 18mths with no trouble whatsoever and got a full service done 2 weeks ago. The car has now started stalling. Basically it starts and when i move off and press the clutch to change gear it stalls.

Happens even if the engine is warm - if i leave it to idle for 2-3 mins the problem disappears.

Any idea what this could be down to?

Get a diagnostic done on it. Hopefully something should show up in the fault codes.

Will do - some more detail.

Typically the problem kicks in if I drive it for a couple of miles and then stop the car (say if I'm going to the shops). When I come back it will struggle to start up (sometimes have to press the accelerator down).
