I fully respect all the coments. I have tried both and you really can not beat the smoothness of petrol engine. I am sure it is very personel thing, but I am sure that I could not have been able to live with the slight vibration, noice etc. Torque? every one raves about it but why, there is no lack of it in 335i, this seem to be only way to justify a diesel! and ofcourse the mpg. I have bought the 335i and as I said earlier it is one of the best car I have ever driven, I couldnt have said the same for 335 diesel, as I would know that I am compromising.

Personally, I absolutely detest the aesthetics of the E92 Coupe. The front end seems out of proportion when observing at 45 degrees. The E90 saloon on the other hand looks great in M Sport trim and a few ACS bits will liven it up further.

The drivetrain is of course fantastic.

Manual E90 saloon 335i M Sport is the way to go imo... Spec: Velvet Blue (if Individual is up and running), Black Leather, Adaptive Xenons, Nav Prof, Bluetooth, Hi-Fi Prof DSP, 6CD, Auto Dim Int+Ext mirrors, Climate Comfort Screen, Sun Protection Glass, Elec rear blind, Manual Side blinds, Front centre armrest, Lumbar Support.
