Had a look at one of these yesterday - bloody gorgeous. Reminiscent of my old Marcos. Any idea how many they plan to sell? Hopefully it will remain exclusive and they won't spoil it by giving it loads of engine options...

Far as I know, what we've got now is 'it'. So two engines; one spec for the M, 3.0 available as Si & Sport - exclusivity pretty much guaranteed given the low numbers coming into the country.

Think I read about 700 per year somewhere, but not sure.

Looked at one last night in black -wow!

Saw a dark metallic blue one today in showroom...not quite sure about that colour, but the black rear window looked menacing & love the piano black interior option these days. One for the future

On the M, they do 'Interlagos Blue'. It looks in your face, but very cool. I really do like this car. Anyone want to buy my Elise 111S?!!

I'll have Imola Red please, with matching leather. A classic M Colour.

Phoenix Yellow is nice, but it's not quite as cool as Dakar Yellow used to be.

As an alternative, how about special order Estoril Blue? Saw it on a Z4 Roadster a while back and it's the best colour I've seen, worth every penny of a special order.

I agree with that.

Seriously thinking about getting one of these and am currently in the early haggling stages with a couple of dealers.

Can't decide on what colour though: Pay the extra £745 for Ruby Black, but what colour interior?
Monaco blue with black leather?
Sapphire black with the Dream red leather?

Decisions, decisions.....confused

PD - I went for sapphire black with red leather and am really pleased with it.

Poor picture, I'm afraid, but it gives you some idea:

Yeah, looks good. The colour thing is really difficult. Saw a 3.0L in Midnight Blue which looked really nice. Most of the ones advertised are in some sort of black, might be adventurous to go for a brighter clour like Montego blue or the Pheonix yellow. Good point about the Estoril Blue though, that would look cool, especially with the matching leather.

Best Z car yet - by a big distance. Suddenly BMW have got it right.

Hmmm... the Z4 Coupe's nice, but I think I'd have the Z8!

If only the steering wheel was on the correct side of the vehicle...

My Z4 3.0 SE coupe should be arriving in 4 weeks - can't wait. Saphire black with M sports seats and piano black trim. There are good deals to be had - I got 11% off list!

I've got a montego blue with black & blue leather on order for January delivery, but most of what I've seen so far seem to be silver or black.

Is it? Why? I can't see how they'd differ in day to day use really?

Im told that if you can buy a car and have it registered by the end of the year 12% is readily available off cars because of the targets dealers have to meet. I can't say if it is for all BMW's but certainly 12% is available off 1 Series, 3 series saloons, X5's, X3's. I bet you could get 12% off a Z4 Coupe but probably not the M.
