Had a scrape in the 535d a few weeks ago - basically grounding the front apron on a kerb with various ducts and vents coming loose as a consequence.

Took it to my local BMW dealer to get a quote to fix it (he looks at it disparagingly, sucks in air through teeth, looks at it..."well its all buckled, you'll need a whole new front end, cost you around £800 + labour".

Then went to Munich Legends, who got the lot realigned and clipped back into place - £75.

Maybe we should start issuing the BMW dealers in the South East with a sheepskin coat and cheap cigar....

You'd be surprised how many company directors ,OAPs and the lot are quite happy paying 800+ labour +VAT without questionning it.The same people who change their cars every 3 years because it's due for its 1st MOT,so it must be "getting on" a bit.

I scraped the wheelarch of mine a while ago on my laughably-tight garage, and took it to BMW for a quote.

"yes mate, probably cost about £400, spray it over to the bonnet and hide the join. etc etc waffle waffle"

Took it to a bodyshop, recommended to me...

"I'd have a go with T-Cut, in fact I've got some silver T-cut here.... there you are it's all come out. No charge to you. Bye bye."

Dealer = Profit, not Value or Expertise.

And there are those that say Munich Legends are too expensive! Personally I've only ever had good experiences with them!
