X5 Wannabe!

Chaps - I am considering my first BMW purchase. Specifically, an X5 3.0d Sport. I'm going to buy a used one, probably 04 or 05. Does anyone know at what points there have been face lifts etc? Also, I know it must have leather, satnav and an auto box. Are there any other desirable options that I should try and find e.g. cruise control etc?

i believe 04 was facelift, i had an 05 no nav, was a bugger to sell without it. most people want full comms pack.
