Please don't feel sorry for us when you drive a 2.0tdi s-line A3.

I wouldnt fault something unless you know something i dont about an A3 tdi, Its not me that drives it! Its my wifes car and she doesnt hang about either. She choose it above all the 3 series diesels.

But when i have a chance on the odd days it shocks me with its performance!

If you knew me You'd understand the kind of driving i do, i am not the average kind of driver! I guess you have seen the type of driving in Transporters 2. serioursly the little Audi copes with anything i throw at it! I would love to get my hands on a R8 but i would ever sell my Shelby for one.

OK I have the BMW for 2 weeks so ill get it looked at Maybe its just a friday car! from a dodgy dealer! and there maybe something wrong with it.

I say chap, that really is awful - how do you cope with 50:50 weight distribution on a RWD chassis powered by a 230bhp three litre straight six petrol engine?

Must be absolute hell with the roof down coming out of a corner with smidge of opposite lock at 6250rpm

I know, its dreadful, I'm thinking of swapping it for a fwd hatch with a 'nice' grey interior as I am starting to feel quite jealous of all the estate agents I see driving them.hehe

Nice sleeper BTW Dunk cloud9

Yes, I often consider swapping my 'banger' 328 for a similar A4 of its age, as I think the reliability of mine really could be improved; I mean, I paid £4,250 for it at 99k, ragged it senseless for 14k and put it in for a hidiouslessly overpriced oil service whereupon the nice man told me about all five of the tiny things wrong with it (two cosmetic, two easily sorted) - I was sooo angr at how unreliable its been and how little is actually wrong with it;

The cream interior built and supplied by angels drives me insane with its comfort and quietness, and the driving experience is something I can't deal with; I mean, it only holds onto the back of Porsche Turbos, 400bhp monsters and other RWD sportscars with ease - I though this was supposed to be faster than that...

You know, I always thought that BMWs were suposed to be fast, exciting, sound glorious and always put a smile on my face - especially at 4k, but no, this one doesn't, I think I'll try and find an A3/4 TDI for 4k to replace it with - that should do it...

Twonk!

Don't assume that your car represents all that is BMW - your fighting an uphill struggle here - BMWs are awesome for a reason, I was a VW man through and through until I 'tried' mine, and now, I'll never go back...

Take it back, moan and get it sorted.

Then go buy one with a bigger engine

WTF, you really are a moron aren't you, why do you even bother with spouting all this crap, if you don't like BM's then fine, no one really gives a crap but you're just spouting absolute drivel, next you'll be telling us you're an F1 test driver, so come on, what sort of driving do you do?

Cheers Love you too!

Thats the last thing Ive ever been called a Maron! Carm down! I am not the best in explaining things at the best of times.

Dont say silly things yourself about a person you dont know! No F1 is Boring. But i would love a drive in Lemans GT class.
How can you tell a person buy writing on a forum? I never said i hated Bmws from the beginning, I am saying the recent models have been a disappoint compared to the Bmws of the past, now ive driven a 330 ci its really disappointing it should be a fast car it isnt I tryed to drive it hard and it didnt perform in the way i expected and when it came to braking it near throw its self from one side of the road to another.

Do you really expect that from a car like that! apart from the M3 as you would expect a great car! they make a great track car too, but for instance, I had a 1997 328 and this 330 is quarter of a car of the 328 and in 1989 i had a 325 sport with the M pack on it and that car was cracking, and now theres a new genaration of people that may not of got a chance to of owned or driven the older cars, thats the reason i said i feel sorry for the younger owners of the current models. I am sure ill drive one thats good in the future and when i do ill let you all know.

PS Sorry for been a Moron or writing like one but i can asure you iam not one. Oh and i would never accuse anyone of being one myself.

Is this chap a troll? Posts alert all the usual troll-indicators in me....

I think BMW's drive superbly, but then what do I know - I bow to your superior driving skills. I'm sure all the motoring journalists who drive everything for a living and continually rate the 3-series best in class are spouting rubbish too.

The reason I called you a Moron is quite simply your posts are utter rubbish, none of them make sense, why don't you try reading what you've written, its got nothing to with BMW's, its to do with the way you are spouting all this crap, and we're still waiting for you to explain why your driving skills are different to the average person?

I can safely say that my 5-series E60 is the best car I've ever owned. It may not have the build quality and finish as my old Lexus, and it doesn't have the edge of the seat handling as the Evo or Impreza. It certainly doesn't have the class of a Jag (not the new ones though cos they look pregnant!), and it'll never get as many looks as the Tuscan.

But... it is still the most grin inducing car I've ever owned! evil

I just had a play with Nigels 330i Cab and I can tell you its no slouch. We didnt get much of a chance to go fast, but when he stuck his foot down it didnt hang around and its not as though I have a really slow car.

It sounds bloody nice too!

No not a troll.

OK as said before theres got to be some serious issue with the car as your all happy with your cars!

Ill pop in to a main dealer and ask them to take a look at it.
