Some guy in my street owns a new, black 335ic and last night some cock stole his wheels and left the car on bricks. This was a bit of a shock to me as I walked to the tube as Belsize Park is supposed to be a 'nice'area of London!

Not only did they take his wheels, but the n00bs tried to leave it on bricks and put the bricks under the side skirts expecting it to support the car! So, now some dick heads have this guys wheels and this poor sod has to get a new car, I doubt that level of bady damage is repairable.

If you are a PH'er, or if you own a Black 335ic in Belsize Park, I'm sorry for you, I hope the bastards get aids and die!

Oh, if you own a 335ic, get propper wheel nuts!

eek I thought they had LOADS, hence the random code for each one (I have two BMs, each with completly different several digit codes) and have written them both down just incase I lose one....

things may have (hopefully) changed with the latest models but when I lost te key to the wheels on my mises' X5 last year, the parts guy said "dont worry sir, it'll be one of these:-" pointing to 4 keys hanging up on the wall behind. Sure enough, it was!

Those Gator Grip sockets with the pins inside them will take off pretty much any locking wheel nut quickly and easily. With a trolley jack, a dozen bricks, a gator grip (or the one of 4 keys apparently), and an electric impact wrench, a "team" of 2 or 3 could easily run around a car and have all your wheels off and gone in less than 5 minutes in near silence ...... Radio controlled buggy tyres fit trolley jack wheels I have heard to keep the noise down.

Utter ccensoredts either way.

Was this occurence anywhere near the instance that was in the GG section a month or so back with another 335 having its wheels go missing inside a week of delivery? I'd be asking some pretty probing questions if that were the case.

Looking at that photo, when the OP said "up on bricks", I think he meant "on a brick"!!!

You sure?

There are actually 40 odd different types.

ETA: Thieving scum, if you caught them they'd probably cry & say their mama refused them her tit when they were young.

Yeah, but it's really 20 as the difference is that the other 20 don't fit the locking nuts with a spike sticking up the middle of them
