Yep, kit though, although bloody good one. The only difference between it and an original is the bush arrangement in the rear suspension.

Certainly drives as badly as an original

My birthday , and also meant to be a stonleigh Nat kit car day. Although I am sorely tempted seeing the line up of cars you will be racing with.

HUGE Grid for this one 29 already - likley be the full 32 cars allowed my Sunday. Loads of Moargans and other V8s have come out of the wood work. Will make it harder though not impossible for a class win (will be at least 2 maybe 3 cars in top class that I doubt we can beat).

Do it it is cheap day out and mega fun - and you are already there!

haha - those bay rock (Formula E) really sad to scrap it - bits just failing to regualerly in the nd - mostly the carb. Pretty Quick with the hugely long Overdrive 4th - could really fly and suprise people on the M4.

Long my she rest in piece - (out Cooper S is a real one though )

I would have gunned it no matter what I was driving, not so much to try and beat you, but for the need to hear your car gunning it. Hopefully he was running it in, or the engine was still cold.

I agree, it is a shame when a nice car gets into the hands of someone with the desire to own one for the qudos rather than the enjoyment.

I've gunned my cars for novas in the past, if the guy gives me the lets go for it wink, and the road is safe to do so. Its not a race so much as a demonsration of the car for a fellow enthusiast.
My thoughts - better put than I could have though.

To be fair he could have been low on petrol. I know of many countless times ive been poodling along on fumes when something interesting turns up..and it’s usually in perfect conditions and an empty road.

True - did not the type I expected - looked like a Dullard though. Probably could have one on the company allowance and just spent to his limit.

I think I have exhausted this jovial thread..................

Cheers Guys.
