Very nice....what colour is that then, midnight blue or something? Have you had to compromise on colour, blue not being your favourite and all??

Maybe it's about time I grew up anyway ... and I am led to believe that it is the fastest colour ... I'll let you know smile

de-limited it should be good for a 'true' 170mph

No. Why?

(I did say to ignore the fact that that particular pic was of a Japanese car - it's the only one I could find of an Orient Blue 850)

Blues much cooler than red...I think they look 'fat' in red. The blue suits it's character more than'wannabe ferrari' red!!

Now that I see whta car the V12 is living in I think you need a bassy exhaust that rumbles at low revs and cruising speeds unlike that high pitched Lambo clip I posted up.

Tubi do loads of top end systems but they will likely charge you as much as you paid for the car.

That H&S system that was mentioned previously is apparently very good. I have heard one on an M3 it sounded great. The owner was very happy with the system and the service.

I suppose an outfit like that is the best place to go for you so you can work with them fine tune your system....

I have had dealing with a firm called Longlife. They have branches around the country and build custom systems from Stainless. It was nice on my Honda but I cannot attest to their experience with BMW's...

I want one that is relatively quiet up to 3k then all hell breaks loose - I'll never get the hard edged bark that the flat-planed crank Ferrari 12s do ... but I'm sure that the BM V12s can be made to howl like a banshee yes

Don't I know it! ... I had a Tubi on the Ferrari ... but worth every penny ears

Once it is fully up and running with the cats off, we are going to see what it sounds like with the current free-flow sports back boxes on and then take it from there smile

biggrin

Watch that bloody great crack in the front spoiler though!

There are some really nice 840s out there with quite low mileage. I was set on going to see a red and also a yellow one but then the lure of the V12 won me over!

Well ... i still haven't found any really good sound or video clips.

I tried ringing hayward and Scott during office hours and left a message but no-one has got back to me yet after about a week!

There are? I will have another search.

I chatted with Alex on my other thread ... I'll see if he has any sound or video clips of his.

Cheers Jeremy smile

Generally they don't, you just need to keep ringing till they answer, would recommend them though, they are about to make me a system for the scooby, and maybe the M3 hehe
