E46 18" M3 wheels on a E39 5 Series

Hi

Does anyone know if a set of E46 18" M3 wheels will fit on a E39 5 Series, these are the 9J rear and 8J front wheels.

IINM 3 series wheels will only go onto 3 series, Z3 and compact.

5 series wheels go on 5 series & 7 series.

Get yourself some M5 rims!

I'm currently selling the M3 wheels and i've had an email from someone interested who has a 5 series, just said i'd let him know if they would fit before he wastes his time having a look.

The E39 5 series has a centre bore of 74.1 mm, whereas the E46 3 series has a bore of 72.5 mm. Also, off-set would be quite different.
