It's a long shot but someone on here might know the answer. I got back from a business trip today and my wife informed me that a warning light has come on on our BMW (330). Accordingly, she then chose to drive one of our other cars. I had a quick look and it's the light which indicates that one (or more) of the tyres is low. Popped an inflator on each of the tyres and, indeed, one of them was quite low. As such, I pumped it up (as well as topping up the others). However, the light is still on. Now I wouldn't normally ponce around by posting this stuff on an internet site (the car's only a year old so it's under warranty) but I need to travel to Manchester on Monday and I'd like to know whether it's likely to be safe to drive. Any BMW engineers out there?

I would say yes.
Before tyre pressure indicators what did you do? - Pump the tyre up and drive it.

Don't know if its the same on the 330, but on the wifes mini, once a warning light has been on about tyre pressures, there's a reset button that you have to press and hold once the tyres been pumped up....might be summat more technical in the 330 though!

Cheers - you were right. It's a bit of a "NASA procedure" to reset the thing but it's sorted now.
