Yep, I'm up for that! Had a full KDS alignment and got some new rear tyres on now (the old one's were bald on the inside edges) so hopefully I won't spend my time spinning the wheels whilst stationary so much!

dave whats the difference between a normal vmax day and a redline day? are they still at brunters? just for my info?

no difference. Normal vMax event at Brunters. Every vMax event is given a name (the last one was Glacier), its just called "Redline" this time around.

It's an S52 M3 block with Mahle (IIRC) internals giving 3300cc, with M52 328 head heavily reworked and garnished with Alpina cams.

Upper midrange is cracking, as you'd expect for a long-stroke big capacity six...

(note the figure is adjusted for manual transmission, so actual corrected for auto is around 280-290bhp)

Over 220lb-ft from 2500rpm until 6000rpm. Peaking at 255 around the 4000rpm point...Dips from 6000rpm onwards, autoshift point it 7250 (hence the sudden dip at the end)
