I dont know the details on the remap. the whole things been done by a BMW styling specialist. Alot of people arent liking the eyebrows though ha ha, Im still undecided. Love the M5 bodykit though.

If its a Sport the bodykit is standard. Definately bin those eyebrows, really detracts from the look of the car.

It is a Sport but its the M5 bodykit not the M sport body kit, they spent about 4k kitting it out. Im not fussed either way, I think it looks cool, (Minus the eyebrows) and its in good nick and full dealer service history. So happy days.
A buddy of mine has an E39 M5 so might have to hook up a trip out to the ring with him I think.

The bodykit is the standard one. The M5 and the Sport have the same bodykit from the factory, only the front grille insert and the rear bumper insert are different.

It only costs 60 quid to change the Sport front to the M5 front as its just the grille.

No way has 4k been spent on body parts, there is no need smile

Yeah, I think the manuals are pretty rare. I was looking at getting a 530i and the vast majority of those were auto's

Yes probably one of the rarest e39 engine/gearbox combo's. Esp in facelift sport trim.

jamster1432 and Fox- I am liking your e39s, very much smile

I said goodbye to mine today, so this is a posthumous post. A 530d which the original owner had fully loaded with toys. I miss her already, and wonder if I will come to regard it as the best car I will ever own.

This picture from a cycling holiday in France...

Beautiful car. Very nice. A real shame you've sold it.

Bought this last weekend, but my wife is going to buy it off me.

2000 330Ci. 129K miles with FSH. Has the shadowline gloss around windows which would have been rare at the time, but doesnt date the car as much as chrome might.

MV2's have been fitted at some point, and all the lenses have been upgraded to clear ones. The rear lights have been upgraded to the later LED (?) type off 2005 / 2006 cars.

Overall it hides its age well. The only other thing we're doing is changing the head unit to a CD player - got one today out of an 05 m3 for it.

You could take even more years off it by adding a Sport front/rear bumper to complete the look. I bet it'd look to Joe Public like it cost many times what it really did once you'd done that.

Clear lenses were standard on the front of a 330Ci, btw.

Yeah, its worth considering doing.

The silver in the front bumper is a bit annoying, but not too noticable when its on the road.

If she decides to hold onto it medium / long term it would be worth upgrading them to sport ones.

Are you sure they are the right wheels on the back? Why would you need spacers - we have a 3.0i in the family and with those wheels and it doesnt have spacers nor does it look like that!
100% certain they are the correct wheels on the back.

255/35/18 rear
225/40/18 front

Genuine BMW 108's

Maybe its the angle of the picture, I don't know.

I don't mean the tyre width I mean the physical wheel width.

Well if the wheel was too small then the tyre wouldn't fit, so I don't really see where you're going with that?

They're genuine style 108 BBS manufactured alloy wheels.

That's not true, you can fit wider or narrower tyres to a rim.

I didn't say you should, only that its possible. His rear wheels look to be fronts with the rear size tyres on.
