Strange question, but is the 5 series an ex police car?
I've had a look through it's history and it's not been a police car
That's good, means that it's probably been looked after then.

That is really lovely. I've always had a soft spot for 6'ers and Alpinas.

It's only my new daily runabout, but it's amazing how many of the neighbours come across and admire, so I thought I'd share here.

Yes, he offered me and my son a lift after I found the large nail in my tyre. I'll get him to have a look at this.

Great car Rob ;-) we will have to get to a meet together sometime. Can't be very often that every one of a specific model in the UK get together in the same place?

How many different types of Alpinas done on the 6 serie convertible ? I have seen one, a month ago in Chiswick, same wheels. It was a light brown/gold color

The one you saw was a replica. There are 2 B6s in the UK, mine and robs, see above. Also 4 B6 were sold in the UK, 1 black and 3 blue.

Re: Alpina convertible: do you know if they have fixed the soft top issue that was common on the E64 from 2004 and beyond?

Not sure what issue you are referring to but the B6s were lci cars so don't know if that improved things from the earlier models?
